Gaza Center Holds Graduation Ceremony for Quran Memorizers
TEHRAN (IQNA) – The al-Sidra Quran Center in the Gaza Strip organized a graduation ceremony for a group of Quran memorizers.
A total of 120 Quran and Hadith memorizers attended the ceremony on Friday evening, beirutpress.net website reported.
Also present were local officials and family members of the memorizers.
The event began with recitation of verses from the Quran by Ahmed Samir Bostan.
Then, Sheikh Muhammad Murad, an official with the center, in a speech praised the graduates for their achievement.
Another speaker was Marwan Aburas, head of Gaza Quran and Sunna House, who said the Gaza Strip has valuable experiences in the field of Quran memorization that can share it with others.
Elsewhere at the ceremony, nine top Quran memorizers were honored and a documentary was played featuring the activities of the Quran center.
