Hezbollah Official Reiterates Support for Palestine
“Rest assured that Hezbollah is with you and is certain of victory,” he said in an address to an Arab forum in support of Palestinian prisoners and detainees held in Israeli jails.
Supporting the Palestinian resistance is an Islamic and Arab duty and a responsibility for all noble people in the world, he said, adding that its outcome would reflect not only in Palestine but all over the region.
Sheikh Qassem also stressed that armed resistance is the only way to liberate the occupied lands and secure the freedom of those held prisoner by the Zionist enemy.
Other proposed paths such as “peace” and concession only aim to legitimize occupation, he noted.
The senior cleric condemned the normalization moves by some Arab regimes as humiliating.
He also praised the support of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Syria for the Palestinian cause.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Sheikh Qassem said Hezbollah will continue to arm, equip, prepare, train and mobilize forces to be ready for any battle that the Zionist regime may wage.
He underscored that Hezbollah will not leave unanswered any attack by the enemy.
