Turkey Hosting “Islam and Environment” Conference

--A two-day conference titled “Islam and the Environment” started Sunday in Istanbul, Turkey, Kuwait’s KUNA reported.
At the meeting, a number of environmental experts from Muslim countries discuss environmental issues from an Islamic point of view.
The agendas revolve around tree planting, greenery development, architecture and personal hygiene.
The conference is also to throw light on ways to safeguard water resources against hazardous pollutants and to protect the environment.
Conference organizers say that the global environmental crisis is the most serious problem human communities are facing and many international entities and NGOs have set the wheels in motion to find effective solutions to it.
