Egypt Quran Radio Airs Special Programs on Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH)

On the occasion of the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), the Quran Radio in Egypt broadcasts special programs on Seerah Nabawi.

According to Kalam al-Akhbar website, one of the programs titled “Prophet (PBUH) in View of Poets” introduces poets’ innovations in describing and lauding the holy prophet of Islam (PBUH).

“Women of the Time of the Prophet (PBUH)” is the title of another program which investigates biographies of a number of women, including Hazrat Khadijah (SA), who played significant roles in helping the holy prophet (PBUH) to disseminate Islam.

A part of the programs has been specified to a contest titled “birth of guidance” which aims to clarify the important roles and the influences of the Muslim figures such as Imam Ali (AS) and companions of the holy prophet (PBUH) in dissemination of Islam.

“Promises of light” is the title of another program of the Radio channel on the auspicious occasion.

The channel plans to air various programs about the character of the holy prophet (PBUH) during the Rabee’-ul-Awwal month.

The radio officials announced that more Hadiths of the holy prophet (PBUH) will be narrated via the channel during the month and the influence of his birth in the human world is the theme to be discussed in the programs.
