Muslim World League Condemns Terrorist Bombings in Iran’s Kerman

IQNA – The Muslim World League (MWL) denounced the recent terrorist attacks in Iran’s southern city of Kerman that killed dozens of innocent people.

In a statement, the MWL expressed solidarity with the Iranian nation and the families of the victims of the terror attack.

It prayed for the quick recovery of those injured in the bombings.

The Mecca-based international Islamic NGO also condemned violence and terrorism in all its forms.

On Wednesday, two explosions killed at least 84 people and wounded scores at a memorial for Iranian top anti-terror commander Lt. General Qassem Soleimani in Kerman.

The Daesh (ISIL or ISIS) terrorist group in a statement posted on its affiliate Telegram channels claimed responsibility for the blasts.

It said two of its members had detonated their explosive belts in the crowd which had gathered at a cemetery for the anniversary of the US assassination of Gen. Soleimani.

Iranians held mass protests after weekly prayers across the nation on Friday, when funerals were held for the victims.
