Qatar’s Jeem TV Broadcasts Quran Recitation for Children
TEHRAN (IQNA) – A special program on Quran recitation and Tajweed principles has been produced for children and teenagers by the Jeem TV of Qatar.
According to Al-Arab newspaper, the program, titled "Iqra’a wa Irtaqi” (read and rise), is broadcast every Friday at 2 p.m. local time.
In each episode, the Holy Quran’s verses are recited by a group of children in the TV's studio and necessary corrections are made by Quran experts.
Phone-in Quran recitation is another part of the program which provides an opportunity for children and teenagers to check and improve their recitation of Quran.
The experts also explain Quranic concepts and provide viewers with some information about Quranic sciences in a simple language for children to understand.
