A book titled “Arba’een of Jami” has been published by Bein-ul-Nahrein Publications in Malaysia.

Edited by Ali Akbar Ziyayi, Iranian cultural attaché in Malaysia, the work is a translation of forty Hadiths of the Holy Prophet of Islam (PBUH) collected by Nuruddin Abdul Rahman Jami, great scholar of the 9th century A.H.

The noble teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and ethical principles have been translated from Arabic into the Persian language.
Ziayi has referred to two authentic sources, one of which written by Sheikh Mahmoud bin ‘Umar Dargozini is kept at the International Institute of Islamic Thought and Civilization affiliated to the International Islamic University of Malaysia.
The other source is a copy inscribed by Sultan Ali Mashhadi and kept at the Library of Astan-e Quds Razavi in the holy city of Mashhad.
The second source is considered to be more authentic than the first one, since Mashhadi was living in 873-912 A.H. and had inscribed many of Jami’s prose and poetical works.
Some samples of Nasta’leeq script by Sheikh Mahmoud bin ‘Umar Dargozini have been included at the end of the book.
Nuruddin Abdul Rahman Jami, who is commonly known as Jami (August 18, 1414 – November 17, 1492), is known for his achievements as a scholar, mystic, writer, composer of numerous lyrics and idylls, historian, and the greatest Persian and Tajik Sufi poets of the 15th century.
