Imam Reza Holy Shrine Opens Tens of Counseling Centers across Iran

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Thirty specialized counseling centers have been opened in public libraries across Iran in an attempt to expand cultural and social services of Imam Reza holy shrine.

 

According to Reza Azarian, head of the General Counseling Center of Astan Quds Razavi, the body in charge of Imam Reza holy shrine in Mashhad, the move will pave the way for the affiliated honorary experts to provide free counseling services to people in public libraries nationwide. “Some 47,000 hours of specialized consultation has been offered by specialists in these centers”.

The program is a huge stride towards promoting public libraries as social bases for trust in the country, which in turn, can disseminate the culture of using specialized counseling services.

Azarian added that even six minutes of reading books would alleviate stress by 68%, noting, “The counseling centers have been established in libraries so that people can benefit from useful books is resolving personal issues under counselors’ guidance”.

The official further maintained that all the counseling work would be offered free of charge in a bid to enhance the services pilgrims receive from the holy shrine.
