Quranic Work by Iranian Scholar Published in Pakistan
TEHRAN (IQNA) – An Urdu translation of the book “Quranic Sciences” was published in Pakistan.
The book by late Iranian Shia scholar Ayatollah Mohammad Hadi Marefat has been translated by Fayaz Hussein Alavi and published with the aim of promoting the Quranic culture.
The Tanzil Quranic institute in the city of Lahore has published the work.
Ayatollah Marefat was a prominent Iranian Shia scholar and Quran researcher.
He taught Islamic and Quranic sciences at Shia seminaries for more than 30 years.
‘Al-Tafsir Al-Asari Al-Jame’, Al-Tafsir and Mofasserun (interpretations and interpreters), and ‘Al-Tamhid fee Olum-ol- Quran’ are among his books.
Ayatollah Marefat died in January 2007.
