Kuwaitis Launch Campaign against Normalization of Ties with Israel

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The University of Kuwait’s National Students Association, in cooperation with the “Youths for Quds” Society, has launched a campaign against normalization of relations with the Zionist regime of Israel.

According to Safa news agency, “My Kuwait against Normalization” is the motto of the campaign.

University students joining the campaign have put messages on billboards in streets across the Arab country to demonstrate their opposition to any move aimed at normalizing ties, especially academic ties, with the occupying entity.

“Normalizing ties is tantamount to interaction with the Zionist regime as a government and not an occupying regime,” one of the messages reads.

They also plan to hold a conference on the issue on Tuesday, February 6.

According to Kuwaiti journalist, the campaign aims to remind everyone that the issue of Palestine is the number one issue for Muslims and Arabs.
