Holy Quran Roadmap for Human Lives: Pakistan Minister of Interior

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Pakistani Minister for Interior Ahsan Iqbal said the Holy Quran acts like a road map for human lives and in depth learning and understanding of the Holy Quran can help in achieving new heights especially in realm of science and technology.

 

He was speaking at the 20th anniversary of Sout-ul-Quran FM channel of Radio Pakistan  at Pakistan Broadcasting House.

Iqbal said the holy Quran's teachings invite the human being to explore the universe; however we, being Muslims have not benefited fully from thought provoking verses of the holy book. "Being Muslims, it is our religious obligation to have in-depth research of the holy book so that we should fully explore the potential of this universe.

He said the Sout-ul-Quran channel is serving people belonging to all segments of the society by providing equal opportunity to listen Quran with translations 19 hours in a day from 19 stations in the country.

He said the government will soon open new stations of the FM channel to ensure broadcasting of the channel at every nook and cranny of the country.
