100 New Quran Houses Planned in Iran

Mohammad Reza Jafari, the education and research deputy of the Headquarters of Mosque’s Arts-Cultural Centers, said the new Quran houses will be launched by the end of the current Iranian calendar year (March 20, 2018) provided that the required budget for them is allocated.

Referring to Quranic programs organized in mosques, he told Fars that 2000 mosques across the country hosted the Rabi al-Quran (spring of Quran) plan during the holy month of Ramadan (July).

The plan featured Quran recitation sessions and honoring Quran activists, he noted.

He added that the 1451 Quranic plan, which included Quranic courses and recitation and memorization of two verses of the Quran, was also held in different mosques.

According to Jafari, the Headquarters of Mosque’s Arts-Cultural Centers is also going to hold Quran teachers training courses in cities across the country in the coming months.
